Overview

The transition from a visitor to a member is a critical stage in a new members’s journey and should be carefully monitored to ensure that no new member falls through the cracks but are fully integrated into the life of the church.

In Profile Communication and Activity Feed

Communicating with a member is an integral part of new member integration. Integration team can communicate directly with a new member from within the profile and every interaction is logged on the activity feed. Watch the video below to see how the communication works

GITAR

GITAR stands for Get Information Through A Relationship. We believe that information gaps can be filled in over time as a person makes the transition from being a visitor, to a new member and then to a member.

GITAR information is divided into 3 categories

Critical – this information is basic and crucial information that we should have on each member. This has to be prioritised when collecting information.

Important – this is important information that will help in understanding the new member more and should be collected as a natural consequence of our engagement with the client.

Privileged – this is nice to know information about the new member, some of the information here will require more time before a member can freely share.

Internal

The Internal tab is used primarily by the Integration Team to keep a tab on some key elements critical in their integration journey. The integration process is a 90 Day process.

Make a Member

When a new member has successfully gone through the integration process they will be moved to member database by clicking on Make a Member

Sunday Attendance

One of the key successful integration indicators is regular Sunday Service Attendance. The Integration person has a responsibility to monitor a new member’s attendance over 12 weeks. See below a video on how to capture Sunday Attendance
