The Visitor module on Church Growth App is divided into two tabs, Visitors and Pledge. We believe that with how important visitors are to church growth, the visitor team has to be committed. We have put 10 points that we believe every one on the visitors’ team should pledge to do as they carry out their role.

    How to Add a Visitors

Step 1: On the Visitors list, click on the Plus icon on the bottom right corner as shown in the picture below:

Step 2: Complete the form and Save as shown below

    Viewing a Visitor Record

Step 1: Search for the visitor’s record that you want to view using Live Search, simply type the full name of the visitor

Step 2: When you have identified the visitor record you want to view, click on the name to see their full profile

In Profile Communication and Activity Feed

When you are in a visitor profile, one of the powerful functions is the ability to communicate directly with that visitor by Email and SMS. You can also schedule or log meetings and phone calls.

All the communication that is done with a member will be displayed on the member’s activity feed. Please watch the video below:

    Visitor’s GITAR

GITAR stands for Get Information Through A Relationship. We believe that on registration minimal information should be collected from the visitor on first contact. Information gaps can be filled in over time as you interact with the visitor.

GITAR information is divided into 3 categories

Critical – this information is basic and crucial information that we should have on every visitor. This has to be prioritised when collecting information.

Important – this is important information that will help in understanding the visitor more.

Privileged – this is nice to know information about the visitor, some of the information here will require more time before a visitor can freely share.

    INTERNAL

The Internal Tab on visitors profile is an important tab for the follow up person, it involves two decisions that will determine the path the visitor will follow.

    Make a New Member

When the visitor’s follow up person has determined that a visitor has made a decision to become part of the church family they can hand them over to the Integration team by clicking on Make a Member, the assign them an Integration Person and Save

By completing the process above, the visitor would have successfully been moved to the new member database.

    Add Classification

Those visitors who would have not been moved to New Members at the end of the follow up protocol will have to be put into categories. These categories will determine the way forward depended on their classification.
