A. Ownership of the software

The Software is designed and wholly owned by Disciplesoft Pty Ltd. DiscipleSoft grants the User a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the software. Disciplesoft shall at all times own all the intellectual property rights in the software.

B. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

C. Backup and data recovery

Disciplesoft hosts its servers with Google Cloud Platform. This platform provides one of the most secure data hosting environment with many world class security features. Information is backed in numerous data remote centers across the world and information is backed up every 24 hours

D. Third party agreements

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

1. To facilitate our Service;
2. To provide the Service on our behalf;
3. To perform Service-related services; or
4. To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

E. Application of the POPI (Protection of Personal Information) Act 4 of 2013 application to the database?

DiscipleSoft complies with all applicable laws on privacy and security in South Africa and in particular the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI) Act of 2013 7.3 DiscipleSoft will only use collected contact information (such as first name, last name, phone numbers and email address) for the purpose of administering services to the users.

F. What measures are in place in case of dissolution or liquidation of 361ICT or the host regarding data retention?

All rights to your data are maintained by you. We provide you the ability to easily export your data and take it elsewhere, if desired.

1. Your contact data will never be shared with or sold to a third party.
2. So long as your account is active, you have full access to your information, for viewing or transfer, at any time.
3. Information can be downloaded in a variety of popular formats.

G.What is the expected up-time?

We provide the following:

1. Minimum uptime of 99.5%
2. Back-up servers to avoid service disruptions if a piece of hardware fails.
3. Around-the-clock performance monitoring, so issues can be detected and addressed promptly.

H. Does the system have different access levels?

Disciplesoft is designed with the ability to control, restrict, monitor, and protect resource availability, integrity and confidentiality of information. Disciplesoft is designed with the ability to give specific rights to users depending on their responsibility. We have various access user levels with the following broad categories

1. Global view of a corporate structure with many branches or congregations below (Head office). This access level is mainly a view only level with limited ability to add or edit information.
2. Super user level: This is the highest access level at branch/congregation with the rights to view, add and edit information
3. Branch level view ONLY: this access level allows the user the ability to view all information captured but can’t add or edit information
4. Groups access: this access level allows the user to only view, add and edit information for their group ONLY.

I. Can l change user rights?

We understand that the church constantly changes personnel and therefore need to upgrade or block individuals from accessing the system. You will be able to assign various user rights or remove individuals from accessing the system on your own or with our assistance.
