    Overview

Most churches do a great job of welcoming visitors and making them feel welcome but fail miserably at collecting visitors’ information for follow up purposes. For those that do, the collected information usually ends up in a box or file forgotten.

With Pulse we want to make sure that visitor information is collected and captured on a system. Pulse allows you to quickly capture and save visitor information in a few easy steps. The information that is collected on first contact with a visitor should be short and non-intrusive so that they have no reason to withhold their information.

    How to Add a Visitor

Step 1: Click on Visitors from the menu on the bottom to go to the Visitors Module

Step 2: On the Visitors list, click on the Plus (+) icon on the bottom right corner as shown in the picture below:

Step 3: Complete the form and Save as shown below:

    Creating a Visitor Follow-up Team

Every church should have a dedicated Visitors Follow-up Team. The key responsibility of this team is to make sure that no visitor falls through the cracks but each and every visitor is thoroughly followed through.

Creating a follow-up team is done from DiscipleSoft web version. Simple follow the steps below:

    Step 1: Go to https://ufic.disciplesoft.co.za

Step 2: Enter your username and password

Step 3: From the top menu go to Settings and Select Visitors and Converts

Step 4: Go to Follow-up Team and Click on Add Follow-up Team

Step 5: Select the names of the people in your Follow-up team by typing the first few characters of their name and save

    Viewing a Visitor Record

Step 1: Search for the visitor’s record that you want to view using Live Search, simply type the full name of the visitor

Step 2: When you have identified the visitor record you want to view, click on the name to see their Activity Feed and Full Details

Activity Feed – On Pulse one can only view a Visitor’s activity feed to see their journey to date as they engage with the assigned follow-up person but cannot do any direct communication with the visitor.

Full Details – this will show the visitors full details include some fields that were not added when we first added the visitor but were added by the follow up person as they engage with the visitor.
